The Snake - Hell's Canyon
The Snake River Fishing Trips The Snake River is the place I love to fish the most. It is the most consistent fishery we have to offer in the state. Is it the numbers of fish? Or is it the high rolling hills, cut out from thousands of years of erosion? With trophy bull, elk, mule, deer, big horn sheep, and even chucker quail, you see it all while you’re on the river fishing the area. It seems to get into your blood and make you crave it! No wonder Chief Joseph and the Nez Pierce Indians spent so much time here! In late September, the salmon are already there when I show up. The steelhead are just starting to run strong and by the first week of October we catch steelhead, king salmon, sturgeon, catfish and even bass.
I provide: All tackle, rods, bait, fish bags, life jackets and a BBQ lunch on request You need: License, punch cards, proper clothing/rain gear, lunch and a cooler for your fish.
